Start your day the Remezzo way
At Remezzo, we don’t like boring breakfast buffets. Instead, we offer a three-course breakfast that changes daily. With the seal of the Greek Breakfast certification, our menu features local products and traditional recipes, like home-made pies, Santorinian sfougato, and Greek-style pancakes with anthotiro cheese, honey and walnuts. Our chef will surprise you every morning with an array of sweet and savoury dishes. From brunch classics like eggs Florentine and French toast, to house specials such as Greek yoghurt, lemon curd, and granola, our breakfast is generous out-of-the-ordinary, and made with love. Just like everything else at Remezzo.
Our special breakfast goes back to the very beginning of Remezzo, when the owner, Aliki Spanopoulou, would cook breakfast for all the hotel guests herself. Back in the 1980s, there were only two basic general stores in Imerovigli and one daily flight from Athens on a tiny propeller plane. Every morning, Aliki would visit the local shops and farmers and prepare whatever was fresh and seasonal for her guests. She never made the same thing twice, but she often prepared her children’s favourite treats — a family tradition that’s very much alive. Although we now have a brilliant chef at Remezzo, many of our breakfast dishes are still made to Aliki’s home-style recipes.
All-day, open-air dining
Poolside snacks, sunset aperitivos, or a late lunch after a morning of sightseeing. Our all-day menu at Remezzo is designed for those moments when all you want is a little something to ease you through the day or usher in the evening.
Casual comfort food is what we do best. Open sandwiches, wholesome salads, and summery pasta dishes can be served on the terrace, to your sunbed, or in the privacy of your room. Just arrived after a long journey? We’ll whip you up a bowl of grandma’s Greek-style spaghetti Bolognese. For those lazy afternoons by the pool, try our signature zucchini and cucumber salad with mint, raisins, and local cheese. Or share a selection of sandwiches with pulled chicken and aioli, line-caught tuna with cherry tomatoes, or good old grilled cheese.

What’s the ultimate wine pairing? Santorini’s exceptional wines served with our incomparable sunsets. Why brave the caldera crowds (and premium prices) when you can enjoy the moment from the privacy of your suite or our stunning veranda? Allow us to suggest our favourite local wines, or mix you a classic cocktail, perhaps with a selection of local nibbles. As the twilight fades, you might find yourself staying right here to raise another glass and count the stars. The night is always young on Santorini.
